What services does TAÇYILDIZ BOYA - APRE TEKSTİL provide?
We have been operating in the textile dyeing and finishing industry since 1985. Our main services are: production of workwear fabrics, denim and fancy woven fabrics; fabric dyeing (reactive, disperse, indigo); finishing treatments (sanforising, softening, water and stain repellency, calendering); and production planning with lead time management. We are based in Merter, Istanbul and supply both the Turkish and international markets.
What types of fabric do you produce?
We produce three main groups: (1) workwear and uniform fabrics — gabardine, ripstop and twill constructions built for durability; (2) denim — stretch and rigid indigo denims woven from ring and open-end yarns; (3) fancy woven fabrics — patterned and special-effect outerwear fabrics.
What are the steps of the dyeing and finishing process?
The process runs in sequence: pre-treatment (singeing, desizing, bleaching and mercerising); then dyeing suited to the fibre type (reactive, disperse, indigo or vat dyes); and finally finishing treatments such as sanforising, softening, water and stain repellency and calendering. Washing, rubbing, light and perspiration fastness together with shrinkage values are checked on every batch.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Minimum meterage depends on the fabric type, the number of colours and how the production line is running. Because we work on a dye-lot basis, there is a lower limit per colour. Once you share your requirement, we provide a specific figure based on fabric type and colour count.
How can I request a sample and a quotation?
You can reach us through the form on our Contact page or by calling +90 212 539 44 65. Sharing the end use, target fabric weight, width, blend ratio, colour reference and estimated meterage speeds up the process. Swatches of existing qualities are sent within a few working days; where development is required, an approval sample and quotation follow the laboratory work.
How do I choose the right fabric weight?
Fabric weight (g/m² or oz/yd²) is chosen according to end use. Workwear and uniforms are usually made in the 180-320 g/m² range. In denim, 8-10 oz suits shirting and summer garments, 11-13 oz is standard for classic trousers and jackets, while 14 oz and above is preferred for workwear and heavy-duty use. Our blog articles cover this in detail.
Is the same shade maintained on repeat orders?
Yes. Dye recipes are recorded in the laboratory and the same recipe is used for repeat orders, keeping shade variation between lots within acceptable tolerances. For colour-critical applications we recommend taking an approval sample before bulk production.
What are you doing about sustainability?
Efficient use of resources, reducing waste in production and choosing environmentally conscious processes are among our core priorities. Water, energy and chemical consumption are monitored, and because recipes are built for repeatability, losses caused by reprocessing are reduced. Full detail is on our Sustainability page.
